Executive Chairman - Peter N Smith, BSc (Min, PG Dip (M Tech), M Min Tech FAusIMM, CP, MAICD
Mr Smith has over 25 years Australian and international experience in the exploration and mining industry, targeting a range of commodities including gold and base metals. Mr Smith has experience in mine development and management including positions with Normandy Poseidon Limited, Gwalia Consolidated Limited, Broken Hill Proprietary Limited and Ivanhoe Mines Limited. Mr Smith has previously served on the boards of a number of public listed companies, including Strategic Minerals Corporation Limited and CEO of Giants Reef Mining Limited, and is also a director of a number of private exploration companies.
Executive Director and Company Secretary - Michael J Povey, B.Bus, CA, FTIA
Mr Povey has over 22 years experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has Public Accounting experience with major accounting firms including Deloittes, Bird Cameron and KPMG within areas of auditing and taxation. Mr Povey has subsequently worked to establish an independent Chartered Accountant business concentrating on taxation, auditing, company reporting, business consulting, superannuation and company secretarial work. Mr Povey has specialised additional background in the delivery of university education courses for consolidations, mergers and acquisitions and accounting standards.
Non-Executive Director - Kevin R Alexander, BSc, BSc(Hons), MSc (Exploration & Mining Geol), MAusIMM,MAIG
Kevin is a geologist with 25 years experience in the exploration and mining of gold, base metals and diamonds in Australia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Armenia. He has held a number of positions at the Chief Geologist and Exploration Managers level and in particular has considerable exposure to projects involving large drilling programmes and ranging from pre-feasibility stage through to advanced development and operating mines. Recently he was Chief Geologist for Oriel Resources Plc; an A.I.M listed company, and was responsible for the geological aspects of feasibility studies into large nickel and chrome projects in Kazakhstan. He began his career with CRA Exploration and has worked for a range of major and smaller companies including Goldfields, Dominion Mining, Great Central Mines and Aurora Gold.
Non-Executive Director - Derrick Sufredo, B App, SC, B.Bus
Mr Sufredo has over 8 years private business development experience in commercial and management functions that include finance, marketing, product and infrastructure development and customer liaising for C.K. Locke & Partners, an Australian Financial Services Licensee. Additionally, he has operational mining experience including the provision of technical services on mine sites within the Australian gold mining sector.

Chief Geologist - Ivan Henderson, MSc, BSc (Hons)
Mr Henderson has over 15 years experience in exploration and production, targeting gold, copper and nickel. His experience ranges from ground assessment, target generation, and project evaluation, through to the discovery of ore bodies that are currently being mined. He has worked at Telfer, Laverton, Kalgoorlie and Kambalda for Newcrest Mining, Sons of Gwalia, Mincor Resources and most recently Harmony Gold.
